{Week 3, Light}

{Week 3/52, Light}

He loves playing with the blinds. They are his biggest distraction while trying to change him.

Week 2: Project 365

Sometimes when you're sick you just need to cuddle.

These books just came in today! I'm excited to start reading. In 2015 I'm wanting to be more organized and less stressed because of it. I want to live my life to it's fullest and not be drowned with being disorganized.

14/365
Today was a busy day. Back to work after almost a week of staying home with a sick child (and being sick myself). Truth is, this face will never get old. I had a passion for photography before he was born, but this little boy has fueled that fire even more.

I just have to brag again. Preston is the best husband ever. Seriously. It's the small things in life. If he stopped buying me flowers and bought me straps instead I think I would be ok with that. Maybe I have a problem?

This boy. Those legs.

{Week 2/52, Storytelling}

{Week 2/52, Storytelling}

This is Marshall. I don't think he is really anything I expected. I expected him to be a bit darker complected, head full of dark hair, brown eyes... Just like his dad. Instead he is exactly like me. It is funny the way God works. His eyes, his smile, his hair... He is such a blessing. He is one of he happiest babies I know. Even when he was sick this week he was happy. His smile could turn anyone's day around. His giggle makes my heart leap with joy. He's also quite the storyteller... for a 7 month old. I'm excited to see his personality grow and watch his story unfold.

Catching Up

So, I've decided to do a combination of a Project 365 and a Project 52 with My Four Hens Photography. The Project 365 is with your phone camera so I'll be posting the 365 project from my phone pictures and the Project 52 will be with my DSLR.

Rolling over

This morning I walked in from starting my car to this. This is the first time to my knowledge that he had rolled over without any assistance. I think he was about as shocked as I was.

Marshall also spent his first morning in Children's Ministry. He's growing up so fast. 😟 Where did time go? I'm excited that he is growing up but I will miss some things about these first months.

Bokeh and Procrastination

I'm a pretty bad procrastinator. Like, hurry at the last minute before it's too late kind of procrastinator. One example being the fact that I'm writing this at 11 pm and I feel like I'm about to pass out. I wanted to be in bed three hours ago.

Second, I wanted to do these photos of Marshall all of December. Well, it's January and I just did them because we are going to be putting our Christmas decorations away soon. Like the saying goes: "Better late than never!" Right?

 I absolutely love this one, (above) It's going in a frame. It has to.
That smile. It makes a moma proud!

Sitting Up

2/365 Today my photo comes from my phone because today was a busy day. While I'm in the shower I put Marshall in the bouncer to play. I'm not going to be able to do that much longer.

Bath Time

In my last post I stated that I was going to do a Photo 365 Project. Well, I'm not about to fail at it already! ;)

So, here is my first photo. Marshall loves his bath time. :) He loves splashing around in his tub. I love watching Preston give Marshall his baths. He is such a great dad.
